How Do I Fix My Business After This Global Pandemic? I Will Show You How I’m Doing It For Mine Step By Step

https://youtu.be/n5QTkq3OVxk

Have you ever had the kind of stress from running your business where you felt like you could drop dead of a heart attack any second?

Have you had days where you wanted to crawl under your desk because you didn’t want to face the reality of your financial situation?

Have you ever dreaded coming back into your office to tackle the newest problem?

Do you work hard, but you are not sure if your business could ever be profitable?

I’ve felt ALL of these ways. Multiple times. And in the past I would put a ‘bandaid’ on the problem with advertising, new programs, and ‘hustling.’ But the business would always come back around to bite me again. It would push me into a corner and I would have to fight my way out.

Ray of hope: There IS a way to fix your business. If someone else can make a business in your field successful, then you can too. There is no question about that. This should make you feel good. This should not make you feel like a failure because they are successful and you’re not yet. As an business owner, you have to categorize yourself as a learner. You have to say ‘if they learned how to do it, I can too!’

So let’s learn!

How do I fix my business? I remember thinking ‘My business is different!’ and ‘What if it isn’t possible to be successful without selling out?’ But those thoughts were excuses. I was naive thinking ANY business is exempt from the rules of building a successful business.

In one of my darkest moments, when I was 150k in debt, over 10k negative in my account, and over 20k in payroll due in two days, I asked myself a question: Have I done everything I can to fix this business? The answer is always no.

I decided that I was going to learn once and for all how to run a business. I paid for courses, I read as many books as I could and by putting what I learned into action, I learned how to fix my business from the ground up. I am now in a high level business and marketing program that is challenging me, but teaching me SO much.

After a year of mentoring others, I recognized I have a unique ability to zero in on the actual problems a business has without any extra fluff. I can tell a business owner if it’s going to work out or not.

If it’s possible to work out the problems in the business, I give the business owner the action steps they must take first. There are so many videos to watch, so many podcasts to listen to, but you need to zero in on the one thing you need to do first.

But before we talk about how to fix your business and figure out this one thing, we are going to talk about something more important.

Should you close your business? Or should you keep going?

Most of us are struggling right now. It is time to make this decision. Answer these two questions and then we will keep going.

  1. Are you passionate about your product or service?
  2. Are other people making enough money right now selling the same product or service?

If you answered yes to these two questions, congratulations! There is no doubt in my mind that you can get your business back on track and be wildly successful doing it. You just have to learn how. I plan on telling you how, step by step in upcoming articles. If you prefer video, I’ll be making those, too. If you need more help, schedule with me here.

If you answered no to question #1, but yes to question #2: Why are are you in this business? Answer the following questions:

  1. Were you passionate about it before owning a business sucked the life out of you?
  2. Do you think you could be passionate about it if you could lower your stress and get the business to support you?
  3. Could you be passionate about it if it allowed you to have vacations and spend time with your family?

If you answered YES to the questions above then don’t worry, we can do this! You just have to learn how. I want you to smile, feel the weight come off your chest and get excited about the future. I’m going to teach you everything I know and reference people’s programs and frameworks who are way smarter than me to help!

If you answered NO to the questions above: You are a good person and you deserve to be doing something you’re passionate about. To give you the short version: You should do 1 of 3 things: sell it, put someone in charge who is passionate about it, or give it up and find something you are passionate about. I wrote an article after I helped 4 of my clients get out of their businesses. I’ll upload it and link it for you soon. I am almost more proud of the clients who got out of their businesses than the ones who turned them around. We can all work hard…but choosing a new path takes GUTS.

The rest of our lives are at stake here. If you’ve woken up for the past 3 months, the past year, or the past 10 years dreading your work day at your business, NOW is the time to change it.

First, we will figure out why you dread your work day. Then, we will figure out the first thing you need to fix. Then, we will figure out the first action step you can take TODAY to fix it.

You can dread your work day, but still be in the right business.

I’ve owned my gyms for 16 years and I dreaded almost every work day. I love my clients. I love the services we provide. My own life has been transformed by the same services we sell.

But I didn’t know how to make the business successful. I didn’t have the right systems, I didn’t always have the right staff and I didn’t have balance. It wasn’t until recently, that I figured out MY role in my business and helped get the right staff in all the other roles. Now, every day I wake up excited. I’ve been waking up earlier and I can hardly go to sleep at night because I want to be in my office working.

I want to help you get there, too. My heart hurts for every entrepreneur who has a dream and then gets crushed under the weight of business.

This is a message of hope. You CAN build your business back up. And I’m going to help you do it.
